- 4+ years of experience working as an engineer, ideally working on Node.js (Express, Nestjs) or Java (Spring; Jakarta) applications at scale.
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining web (frontend) applications. HTML, CSS and Typescript/Javascript, as well as any of the principal Js frameworks (React, Angular, VueJs).
- Database Management System Knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity working with the principal public cloud technology offerings (AWS, Azure or GCP) and willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience with IaC technologies like Terraform and Cloudformation will go a long way.
- Elementary CI/CD knowledge (Git, Docker, Jenkins/Gitlab/Azure Devops, etc).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to hold and lead technical discussions.
- Ability to work unsupervised for extended durations of time.
- A degree in computer science is certainly a plus; a decent sense of humour even more so.
