The Sales Engineer is responsible for actively promoting the company’s solutions for municipal and/or industrial applications, which drive significant impact to the organization. - Proactively create and follow up on new and existing business opportunities.
- Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
- Analyze and create a work plan for engaging the target market
- Work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Presenting and communicating new products to existing and prospective clients.
- Demonstrating using various lab and online equipment and providing after-sales services to clients to build lasting relationships.
- Budgeting of sales and marketing activities.
- Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary, and prepare quotes, receipts, and delivery notes.
- Deliver orders and follow up on payments.
- Adhere to stipulated sales targets, write reports, and constantly update the Sales manager on all activities and projects.
- Enter and Update opportunities in HUBSPOT or other ERP and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Candidates should have 2 years of experience working in the water industry.
- A degree in Analytical Chemistry, Environment Sciences, or Water Engineering. Alternate degrees or work experiences will be considered.
- Proficiency in English and French with excellent and flawless written communication skills
- Must have a valid driving license and be willing and able to travel within the region.
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
