Contract type: 12 months. Fixed-term contract
Starting date: As soon as possible (Internal and external)
- Collect information on the political, humanaarian, socio-economic and political situation analyze then and ensure regular monotoring of the situation in the sub-delegaton's coverage area;
- Maintains and develops, under the supervision of the HoSD. a network of nterlacutor among the actors of influence in the in the region, within the civil and security, tuba and traditional authorities, political parties as weal as supporting the HoSD ard delegates in the development and maintenance of a rehvork of weapon aearers,
- Contributes to the analysis o4 the dynamics of armed violence and its humanitarian consequences:
- Regularly updates a stake-ho de' analysis (cataoase of key interlocutors and influential actors
- Participates in meetngs with the authorities the humanitarian framework alongside the HoSD and supports the reporting of the sub-delegation with these interlocutors,
- Contributes to tne identification and urderstanding of me humanitarian problems of people affected by armed violence,
- Preoare, organize, and participate in multidisciplinary assessments iProtection. Economic Security Water and Habitat. Health. Cooperation and Communicabon/Prevention
- Assists the HoSD in the management and implementation of the security institutional framework
- Support anti assist the HoSD by contacting the network of key interlocutors (e.g.. telepnone calls/security check- in) of the sub-delegation with the aim of monitoring the current situation and confirmirg security guarantees for ICRC teams on field missions:
- Support the risks mapping and their monitoring;
- Participates in the definition a` the priorities of the Sub-Delegation;
- Contributes to the drafting of regular various written reports (field mission reports, irterview minutes, relevant thematic message, analysis reports. etc
- Contributes to the reporting of internal and external meetings; writes the minutes of the meetings to which sheirie participates and puts them in the allocated folders.
- Master2/Doctorate in International Reiations Political Science, Law, Communication, management, Conflict Studies, or similar studies
- Excellent knowledge of the context of the North West of Cameroon,
- Minimum of 5 to 6 years of expenence in the humanitarian field;
- Good knowledge of English (oral and written), Pidgin and French
- Knowledge of other local languages would be an asset;
- Good knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Windows and Office
- Proven ability to communicate and good ktering;
- Excelent analytical and reporting skills,
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Discretion. flexibility, self-confidence, and availability;
- Ability to interact with various actors and interlocutors.
