DiDreams is a brand strategy and marketing agency based in Douala, serving clients across multiple countries. We work with corporations, executives, and international institutions to build brands that move from invisible to unforgettable. Our founder has consulted for the International Trade Centre (UN/WTO), coached entrepreneurs on global stages, and built brand strategies for organizations across Africa and beyond.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for one exceptional person to join our team as Brand Executive. This is not a social media internship. This is not a junior posting role. This is a career opportunity to work directly with the founder and CEO of a premium brand strategy agency, learning, executing, and growing at an altitude most agencies in Cameroon do not operate at. You will be trained in brand strategy, content production, client management, and marketing execution. In return, we need your full commitment, your honesty, and your consistency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Write and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, in English and French, for both DiDreams and our clients. Manage daily social media operations: scheduling, publishing, community engagement, comment management, and performance tracking. Coordinate with freelance designers and videographers on visual assets, including writing design briefs, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring brand standards are met. Support client account management: preparing content calendars, executing approved strategies, responding to client queries, and reporting on results. Assist with business development tasks: preparing proposal sections, managing event logistics, tracking leads, and supporting corporate presentations. Maintain the DiDreams content calendar system, ensuring every post goes live on time and at the quality standard our brand demands. Provide weekly metrics reports on all platforms including impressions, engagement, follower growth, and lead generation.
WHO YOU ARE
Bilingual: fluent in English AND French, written, not just spoken. You write compelling, error-free content in both languages. A strong writer: you can craft a LinkedIn caption that stops the scroll without being told every word to say. Digitally skilled: you can use Canva (or similar tools) to create basic designs — quote cards, simple graphics, story templates. You are comfortable working across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms. Reliable: you show up every day, on time, without excuses. You meet deadlines without being chased. Honest: if you don't know something, you say so. If you made a mistake, you own it. We value integrity over perfection. Detail-oriented: you spot a spelling error before it goes live. You notice when a colour is wrong or a tagline is outdated. You care about quality at the pixel level. Eager to learn: you want to understand brand strategy, not just execute tasks. You're curious about why things work, not just how. Committed: you are looking for a company to grow WITH — not a company to learn from and leave. We invest heavily in our people and we need that investment to be mutual.
WHAT YOU DON'T NEED
You do not need a degree in marketing or communications. We care about ability, not certificates. You do not need 10 years of experience. We care about what you can demonstrate, not what your CV claims. You do not need to know everything about brand strategy. We will teach you our methodology. What we cannot teach is character.
WHAT WE OFFER

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum GCE+2 or equivalent (any field, we do not discriminate by discipline). Minimum 1 year of professional experience managing social media accounts for a brand, company, or organization (personal accounts do not count). Demonstrable writing ability in English and French. Basic design skills (Canva minimum).
