The position is based in Douala
- Analysis of loan files and submission for approval.
- Ensure optimal packaging of personal loans as to ensure quality assets growth.
- Track Personal loans performance in terms of volumes growth and revenue growth while ensuring NPL ratio is contained within the bank’s acceptable norm.
- Leverage the value chain across all business segments to maximise asset and revenue growth.
- Track production per staff (RM) targets to drive revenues.
- Accountable for the review, structuring and approval of credit facilities (CA Package)
- All information required to complete the CA is to be obtained timely for the Credit commentary and analysis to be completed.
- Responsible for all aspect of the credit analysis and the quality of the submission
- Ensure that the credit quality and integrity of the Consumer Banking portfolio is maintained.
- Follow up the booking of credit facilities with credit administration and Treasury Operations
- All credit deterioration are to be advised immediately when knowledge of this comes to hand in order to anticipate corrective action.
- In liaison with credit Administration Department, continuously monitor the portfolio risk in order to ensure an acceptable portfolio risk rating.
- Provide back-office support to relationship officers.
- Proactively research market and client related aspects and communicate information obtained through market intelligence reports etc., to pre-empt business risks and opportunities.
- Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the bank’s lending relationship with customers.
- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of information supplied to the bank on which decision are taken.
- Responsible for monitoring the credit performance of customers and assessing on a continuous basis the customers condition dynamically whenever interim information is available and/or received.
- Provide support to the core sales team for all field marketing activities.
- Timely processing of loans files within SLA to Achieve minimum customer service rating guarantee quality customer service.
- Regularly situate Relationship Managers on the status of files.
- In conjunction with relationship officer, develop and maintain credible relationship with clients at appropriate levels through reliable and proactive service delivery.
- Share knowledge and best practice within the unit and with RMs as need be
- Ensure effective and timely reporting for use by the business segments.
- Remaining up to date on all bank credit policies, credit products, interest rates as well as economic
- and social development in the environment
- Embed target market discipline and contribute to build a healthy loan portfolio that exceeds volume, revenue and NPL standards of 3%.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, legal, regulatory, audits and any other governance requirements.
- Comply with all the Group and Affiliate policies and procedures with regards to the Personal Loans

- At least 5 years related experience, with good sense of attention to detail.
- Customer focused & results orientated.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pull together various resources to sell and deliver customer solutions.
- Good organizational and time management skills are highly desirable.
- Result driven team player.
- Bachelor’s degree/ HND /Licence or related field of study.
- Analytical with good knowledge of credit policies and procedures, prior experience
- in credit process is a plus.
