- Prepare tax payments
- Estimate and track tax returns
- Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
- Organize and update the company’s tax database
- Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
- Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
- Share financial data with the accounting department
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Produce monthly reports on the company's accounting and tax activities
- Managing monthly tax and social security returns (data collection, processing, calculation, declarations and payment)- Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
- Managing the accounts (analysing, processing and entering accounting documents according to OHADA standards
- Have a good command of management softwaren also have a great love of figures (handling and processing them)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Management / Finance / Taxation or finance / Taxation or any other equivalent qualification
- At least 5 Years'experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst or Tax Preparer
- Excellent fluency in French & English is mandatory
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software packages
- A good knowledge of laws and regulations
- Computer literacy (Pack Office, SAGE Accounting and Paie, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
