Position Overview:
As an Intern – Account Manager, you will work closely with our account management and customer success teams to support the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring that our customers receive top-tier service and support. This role will expose you to various aspects of account management, including onboarding, client communications, renewals, and performance analysis. You will also learn about the voice and messaging technology landscape and how to effectively serve clients in this industry.
- Client Relationship Support:
- Assist in managing client communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and requests.
- Help coordinate meetings, calls, between clients and the account management team.
- Assist with client onboarding, ensuring smooth transitions and successful integrations of Voice and SMS services.
- Account Maintenance & Reporting:
- Track and monitor account performance and usage to ensure clients are maximizing the value of our services.
- Assist with preparing regular performance reports for clients, including usage metrics and service performance.
- Help identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services or products to existing clients.
- Customer Success:
- Support the account management team in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues or service disruptions.
- Assist with ensuring timely renewals and contract management for existing clients.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to contribute to product improvement and service optimization.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales, support, and product teams to address client needs and ensure service delivery.
- Assist with internal meetings and presentations to discuss account strategies and project timelines.
- Contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving sessions aimed at improving client satisfaction and engagement.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in telecommunications, specifically Voice and SMS technology, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating across departments.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Previous internships or project work in account management, customer success, or sales is a bonus, but not required.
