As a leader in cocoa traceability, we are committed to sustainability and fostering strong partnerships with farmers and cooperatives across the globe.
About Us: COOKO LTD specializes in ensuring the traceability and quality of cocoa from farm to market. We work directly with farmers to improve efficiency and sustainability in the cocoa supply chain, empowering communities and delivering excellence in every bean. This role will be a permanent position at our COOKO research facility in Ntui, Cameroon.

  • Location: Field (90%), Office (10%)
  • Location: Ntui, Cameroon - Site based
  • Reporting To: Site Manager
  • Start Date: September 2024

Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
  • Translate Plans into Action: Develop and execute supply plans based on commercial and production strategies. Develop routes and identify fleet needs based on the logistics needs.
  • Expand Supplier Networks: Continuously identify and onboard new cooperatives and aggregation points to enhance supply efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with cooperatives, farmers and other actors in the supply chain ensuring smooth operations.
  • Logistics Collaboration: Work closely with the Cooko team to facilitate cocoa evacuation and streamline operations.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and record logistics costs to ensure most cost-effective operations.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, Logistics, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in logistics and distribution, preferably in the cocoa industry. Experience in FMCG and other industries (beverages as an example) could be acceptable.
  • Language: must be fluent in both English and French
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of informal buying, supply planning, negotiation, and relationship management. Proficiency in Google Sheets, Forms, Drive, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized with excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Integrity and a proactive approach are essential.
