You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements and user needs into effective and visually appealing design solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user-centred design principles, excellent visual design skills, and the ability to think strategically about the user journey.
Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
- User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user behaviours, needs, and pain points.
- Analyse user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop user personas, user flows, and journey maps to inform design decisions.
- Information Architecture and Wireframing: Define the information architecture of digital products, ensuring logical and intuitive navigation.
- Create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to visualise the structure and layout of interfaces.
- UI Design and Prototyping: Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that are visually appealing, consistent with brand guidelines, and optimised for usability.
- Create and maintain UI style guides and design systems to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Utilise design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) effectively.
- Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging interactions, considering user feedback and best practices.
- Develop interactive prototypes to test and refine user interactions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Usability Testing and Iteration: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback on designs.
- Analyse testing results and iterate on designs based on user insights.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve design skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX designer or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions.
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Experience designing for both web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience in the technology and/or travel industry.
