We are looking for professionals with experience in managing the day-to-day operations and commercial development of the bank's branches to ensure excellence in terms of service quality and productivity.
Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
Main role(s): He/she will be responsible for the company's tax compliance while optimizing its tax burden, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and maintaining rigorous accounting. Furthermore, you will work at the heart of the finance department, closely collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities And Duties Include
1. Ensure the recording and monitoring of accounting transactions  
2. Ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards  
3. Prepare tax payments  
4. Prepare and verify tax declarations  
5. Draft tax reports on a quarterly and annual basis  
6. Advise on tax strategies aligned with the company's objectives  
7. Prepare the required documents for tax payments and declarations  
8. Identify tax savings and propose solutions to increase profits  
9. Keep track of industry trends and developments in tax regulations  
10. Communicate tax forecasts to upper management  
11. Conduct tax monitoring and ensure compliance with legal requirements  
12. Provide guidance to management on tax efficiency and financial planning
Job Requirements
Required Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Management, Taxation, Finance, or any other related field
Work Experience
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in a similar position or accounting/tax firm
Technical Competences
  • Excellent knowledge of Cameroonian tax and accounting standards
  • Advanced knowledge of the NS Office suite, accounting software, and tax regulations
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required, or at least full proficiency in one of the two languages
Cross-functional skills
Demonstrates strong initiative and leadership abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to influence decision-making
Adaptable and responsive to changing priorities, capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently
