Line Manager : Maintenance Leader - Downstream

The Daily Technician is Highly skilled and detail-oriented with hands-on experience in performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems. Their duties include diagnosing problems, repairing or replacing defective parts, and performing regular maintenance.
- Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems on equipment.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, pumps, agitators, conveyors
- Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring advanced technical expertise
- Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment.
- Review job plans using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, supervisors, etc.),
- Generate, complete and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system.
- Participate in projects and/or rebuilds.
- Perform established PM’s and identify new opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for food safety as well as meeting all regulatory requirements.
- Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational school diploma LICENCE, DUT, BTS in a mechanical/industrial maintenance domain MA, MEM, GMP, GIM,
- BAC in F1/Mechanical construction is an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years’ Experience at a similar role
- English business proficiency (written and spoken)
- 2-5 years’ experience in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing experience, required
- Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, line diagrams and schematics,
- Ability to identify and analyze a situation and to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications, required.
