Société Ruula is a leading digital distributor enabling the commercialisation of entertainment and educational contents in Cameroon. It is the aggregator providing both local and international songs for MTN Zik by MTN Cameroon, and Funtone by Orange Cameroon. Its mission is to build reliable revenue streams for content producers while delivering value to end consumers.
We're looking for a Social media and digital enthusiast to join our team in Douala for a professional internship.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging content, including social media graphics, captions, and short-form video content tailored to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Social Media Management: Schedule and publish posts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn and other channels.
- Community Engagement: Actively monitor our social media channels, responding to comments and messages to build a positive community around the brand.
- Market Research: Track local trends and competitor activities to suggest new content ideas.
- Reporting: Gather data on post and campaign performance to help us understand what resonates best with our audience, and to assess against goals and KPIs.
- A smart, objective, digital savvy and self-motivating individual aspiring to build a career in organizational communication.
- Has a Bachelor degree in Communication, bilingual letters or Journalism
- Skilled in design tools like Canva or Photoshop, and some AI tools.
- Has at least a year of cumulative experience working on projects aimed at building a brand's relationship with the public
- Must be fluent in English & French
- A quick learner willing to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges
- Ability to effectively multitask and deliver expected results
- Warm personality with great communication skills and able to work with people
- A sense of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work well under limited supervision and pressure to meet deadlines
- Dynamic with a sense of responsibility and accountability
- Has knowledge about the latest trends in local and international music industry
