Société Ruula is a leading digital distributor enabling the commercialisation of entertainment and educational contents in Cameroon. It is the aggregator providing both local and international songs for MTN Zik by MTN Cameroon, and Funtone by Orange Cameroon. Its mission is to build reliable revenue streams for digital creators while delivering value to end consumers.
We are seeking a creative and resourceful digital content creator to handle the production of high quality multimedia content for the promotion of our brand and its services online.
Responsibilities:
- Create different types of content, including audio, video, graphics, and written material for digital channels.
- Manage social media accounts
- Use AI tools to assist in content creation
- Work with marketing to promote products or services online
- Use professional editing software to improve digital content
- Upload and deliver content to online CMS platforms
- Use SEO to boost search ranking and increase written content’s visibility
- Measure content performance through analytics tools and methods
- Keep up with the latest trends in digital content
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Digital Content Creator or similar role
- Excellent writing and editing skills in French & English
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, IT or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, auditions) or similar software
- Experience with video editing software (e.g. Capcut )
- Understanding of visual design principles and best practices
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for creating engaging and innovative digital content
