Job Offer: IT Applications Integrations Officer
FINASDEE Credit Line Cameroon SA is seeking a dynamic, rigorous, and result-oriented IT Applications Integrations Officer to join our team.
Key Performance Indicators for the Position
  1. A 99.5% annual availability of critical applications and integration services.
  2. Percentage of application enhancements and fixes delivered successfully without critical defects: 95%.
  3. Percentage of API and integration services operating successfully without major incidents: 95%.
  4. Timely resolution of application and integration incidents within agreed timelines.
  5. Percentage of successful deployments and releases completed without rollback: 95%.
  6. High quality and accuracy of technical documentation and support reports.
  7. Effective support of banking applications, digital platforms, and database operations.
  8. High level of professionalism, teamwork, and compliance with IT operational procedures and security standards.
Missions / Responsabilités / Activités
  1. Support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of institutional digital applications and integration platforms.
  2. Participate in the development and support of web applications, mobile banking platforms, business dashboards, and internal management systems.
  3. Support the implementation and maintenance of APIs and integration services with banking systems, third party services, SMS platforms, and payment solutions.
  4. Assist in backend development activities, including business logic implementation, API integration, and application optimization.
  5. Support frontend development activities to improve application usability, responsiveness, and user experience.
  6. Assist in database development and SQL activities, including query writing, stored procedures, report extraction, data reconciliation, and database troubleshooting.
  7. Provide first and second level application support for users, application incidents, deployment issues, and integration failures.
  8. Participate in application testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), integration testing, regression testing, and release validation.
  9. Monitor APIs, application services, scheduled jobs, database processes, and integration services to detect and escalate operational issues.
  10. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, API documentation, deployment procedures, user manuals, and configuration guides.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support application delivery, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  12. Ensure compliance with internal IT procedures, operational standards, and security requirements.
Compétences / Exigences / Qualités
Experience
  1. Minimum 1–3 years of hands on experience in software development, web application development, backend development, or application support.
  2. Good knowledge of API integrations, web services, and application connectivity.
  3. Hands on experience in SQL query writing, database support, and troubleshooting activities.
  4. Experience supporting digital banking, fintech, or business applications is an added advantage.
  5. Basic experience in application deployment, testing, and issue resolution within production or support environments.
  6. Experience in fintech, banking, or microfinance environments is an added advantage.
Education
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
  2. Professional certifications in Software Development, SQL Server, APIs, Cloud Technologies, or IT Service Management are an added advantage
Technical Skills
  1. Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
  2. Added advantage: Node.js, React, TypeScript, Docker, Linux, IIS, Nginx, and SSL configuration.
  3. Familiarity with development and support tools such as Git, GitHub, Postman, Jira, VS Code, and IntelliJ.
  4. Good understanding of query writing, stored procedures, database troubleshooting, and application deployment support.
Personal Qualities
  1. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
  2. Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities.
  3. Fast learner with strong attention to detail and willingness to grow technically.
  4. Ability to work effectively under pressure with high professionalism and integrity.
  5. Bilingual (spoken and written) English/French is an added advantage.
