JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a qualified Community manager to join our marketing team! If you are a self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional we would love to meet you! We are expecting you to be experienced in social media, PR and promotional events.
Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
As a Community Manager you’ll be providing management to our social media community presence, by supporting communications on various social platforms, you will ensure that content published meets brand guidelines and overall communication style. You will also monitor social media channels to build a community of followers, handle support questions, and increase engagement.
- Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
- provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts
- respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
- organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
- coordinate with marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
- liaise with development and sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
- build relationship with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
- monitor, track and repot on feedback and online reviews
- prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports on a company’s social media activity
- stay up to date with digital technology trends
- develop content plan and analyze web traffic and relevant community metrices
- relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders
- attend networking event or relevant workshop
- BSc. Degree in marketing, communications or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role
- Experience planning and leading community initiatives
- Ability to identify and react relevant community KPIs
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skill
- Hand on experience with social media management
- Ability to interpret website traffic
- Knowledge of online marketing
- Attention to detail, critical – thinking and a problem – solver
- Strong leadership skills
Term of office: 3-year contract renewable after annual evaluation
Probationary period: 3-month probationary period with possibility of extension
Language required: English and French.
Expected start date: As soon as possible.
- A degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing, or related field may be required.
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube is essential.

- Proficient in Google Analytics.
- At least two years of experience managing social media platforms.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques.
