The Tax Advisor receives guidance from the Finance Manager hierarchy.
Work location is Douala, with periodic trips to Client sites (Dompta, Belabo, Kribi and offshore), depending on operations requirements.
-Build relationships and interact with internal clients to provide tax planning and expertise
-Manage and coordinate tax audits
-Prepare monthly tax returns, including the annual tax return in conjunction with the Accounting Team
-Identify and mitigate tax risks -
-Manage tax compliance process
-Perform balance sheet accounts reconciliation
-Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
Must be able to speak English and French, with the ability to communicate in English over the phone and via email. Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Accounting System is an added advantage.
