- Responsible for implementation of Q&FSMS (Quality and Food Safety Management System) on the site to ensure safety and overall quality of final products being manufactured and ensures Q&FSMS is maintained, monitored and continuously improved as required by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standard applied;
- Verifies international and Barry Callebaut regulatory compliance of site operations covered by Q&FSMS through program of internal quality & food safety audits;
- Ensures applicable Barry Callebaut QA policies are permanently transcribed into local procedures, work instructions and explained to the involved stakeholders through sensitization and training;
- Ensures QA monthly data collection, verification and analysis through clear report for decision, proactiveness together with Corrective and Preventive Actions;
- Responsible for internal, external and customer audit completion successfully and maintaining;
- Responsible for HACCP and GFSI standard management in the site;
- Applies programs to ensure Good Laboratory practices in the safety way;
- Ensure Customers complaints management in structured quality improvement activities related to recurrent quality and/or safety issues;
- Roll out Barry Callebaut Food safety standards;
- Ensure that Barry Callebaut suppliers quality management is implemented and maintain;
- Lead QA and food safety team, and ensures team members will receive the relevant training, qualifications, appropriate tools and practices for the job together with all employees;
- Establishes QA Department budgets (Opex & Capex) and ensures costs control.
- Master of science or Engineer in food technology or food processing / Food sciences / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Microbiology or related field
- Minimum 5 years post education experience in Quality Management, Food Safety Management System in food industry or in related industry
