Location: Remote (with occasional meetings online or at STEM Ignite hub if local)
Commitment: Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 6 months preferred.
- Proficiency in WordPress & PHP: You should have a strong grasp of WordPress, including theme and plugin customization, as well as a solid understanding of PHP.
- Content Creation & Social Media Management: Experience in creating engaging content and managing social media platforms is essential. We're looking for someone who can keep our community engaged and informed.
- Graphic Design Skills: While not mandatory, experience in graphic design will be considered a significant plus. If you can create visually appealing graphics, you'll add great value to our team.
- Passion for Community Impact: We need someone who is not just technically skilled but also passionate about using their knowledge to make a difference in the community.
- Maintain and update the STEM Ignite website, ensuring it's always fresh and functional.
- Create and manage content that inspires, educates, and engages our audience.
- Handle our social media presence, expanding our reach and impact.
- Contribute to our visual branding efforts, from website graphics to social media posts.
- Make a Difference: Use your skills to support an important cause—encouraging young women to pursue careers in STEM.
