Position based in Douala.
- Manage cash flow: monitor liquidity, plan cash and operating budgets, define credit policy, optimize financing, investments and tax opportunities
- Assist management in formulating tax planning to reduce tax risk
- Proactively participate in tax audits, tax inspections and prepare tax documents, respond to inquiries and negotiate with local tax authorities
- Prepare accounts and statutory tax reports on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly and annual)
- Carry out and revise various regular tax returns on time
- Carry out daily tax audits, monitor and resolve tax issues
- Ensure communication of accounting and tax information (tax packages, tax returns, internal reports, etc.)
- At least 08 years' experience in tax management, primarily in a large trading company/processing plant or preferably in a type 4 audit firm or similar
- Minimum 5 years' higher education in tax accounting or any other related degree
- Age requirement: between 33yrs and 45 years old
- Able to work in any city in Cameroon
- NB: Fluent in English and French (Perfectly bilingual or Anglophone)
- Sound knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and taxation, business and social law, economics, auditing and management control
- Excellent knowledge of communication, organization, coordination, planning and execution
- Strong team management skills, both hierarchical and cross-functional
- Good listening and persuasion skills
- Good analytical skills
- Rigorous, proactive and dynamic
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Good interpersonal skills
- Dedication, integrity and self-discipline
- Good sense of organization and responsibility.
