- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine corporate strategies, business plans, and operational models aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Evaluate and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and resource utilization.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, coordinating with departments such as finance, operations, and procurement to drive implementation and ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate key findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to executive leadership in decision-making processes, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.
- Monitor and assess the performance of strategic initiatives, conducting post-implementation reviews and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of developments in the mining industry, including technological advancements, market dynamics, and regulatory changes, to inform strategic decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or business analysis roles, ideally with a focus on the mining sector.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing corporate strategies, operational improvements, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Fluent in both French and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
