Position: Laundry Supervisor
What you will be doing!
- Supervise and coordinate activities of laundry staff to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Inspect laundry and linens to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Maintain inventory and control of all laundry supplies and equipment.
- Train new employees in the laundry department.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards in the laundry department.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of laundry operations.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Supervisor or similar role in a hotel
- Excellent knowledge of laundry operations and equipment (experience with Girbau equipment is an asset)
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
