We are looking for(01) Specialist RM/PM /Consumables General Purchase plannerin the city of Douala.
DUTIES
- Forecasting future demand for materials, services specific in production plant based on various factors like sales data, market trends, and production schedules.
- Communicating with other departments regarding production schedules and any possible changes.
- Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing potential shortages.
- Working with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and components.
- Developing and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to meet manufacturing needs.
- Collaborating with other departments like production, logistics, and quality control to ensure smooth execution of plans.
- Streamlining processes so that production can meet deadlines.
- Applying their knowledge of maths and statistics to real-world scenarios.
- Analysing data to identify trends, monitor performance, and make informed decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Being a multitasker;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
- Knowledge of procurement principles and best practices.
- Experience in a manufacturing or purchase is often preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement planning in General, Spares, RM and PM.
- Strong communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
- Adherence to timeline for set goals
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in purchase planning and data analytical skill.
- Degree in a related field, such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of working in Excel and large data.
